California Hospitals Begin To Report Adverse Events, Errors

Boston (ChattahBox) - Adverse events, or patient errors have begun to be reported from California hospitals. A new report from the California Department of Public Health has revealed that California hospitals made some serious errors, or adverse events. over the course of a 10-month period that ended in May.
California hospitals, according to a new law, must report any type of adverse event resulting in an injury to their patients. Read more
Houston Quintuplets Born 9 Weeks Early, Are Doing Well

Washington (ChattahBox) - A couple from Houston, Texas, Stephen and Ellen Howell, are the happy parents of quintuplets. The quintuplets had to be born 9-weeks early while the couple was in Phoenix, Arizona.

CDC Increases Cases Of Salmonella, Tomatoes To Blame?

Boston (ChattahBox) - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has increased the number of cases of salmonella yet again up to 810 confirmed cases across 36 states in the U.S. This comes as questions are raised as to if tomatoes are to blame as the direct source.
As of June 27, the CDC has confirmed that there are now 810 cases of salmonella across 36 states in the U.S., with many having to be hospitalized because of their illness. Read more

Hollywood (ChattahBox) - The Screen Actors Guild is set to have their current contract with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers to expire on Monday, June 30. With that though, the SAG is seemingly staying away from all strike talks.
