Washington (ChattahBox) – The Democratic National Convention wrapped up last night in Denver, Colorado with Barack Obama accepting the Democratic nomination. As the ratings come out though, it was clear that his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, was not as big of a ratings draw as Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Veoh Wins Copyright Case, YouTube Looking Good

Washington (ChattahBox) – YouTube can certainly feel a bit safer thanks to a ruling by a U.S. judge to dismiss a copyright infringement case against Veoh Networks Inc, a video start-up site similar to YouTube.
The adult entertainment company Io Group Inc. filed the copyright infringement case against Veoh, stating that they did not do enough to protect content that they did not own any rights to. Read more

Washington (ChattahBox) – NASA confirmed yesterday that they have discovered a computer virus on a laptop that is aboard the International Space Station (ISS). This has caused a great deal of concern, and has many asking what NASA should do about this.

Pfizer, Bristol Will Not Seek FDA Approval For Apixaban

Washington (ChattahBox) – Bristol-Meyers Squibb Co. and Pfizer Inc. are reportedly not going to seek FDA approval next year for their blood clotting drug apixaban.
Bristol and Pfizer were originally hoping to see FDA approval for their blood clotting drug next year, but will not be doing so after the drug failed in a phase III trial. Read more
