Four Israelis Dead in West Bank Shooting, Hamas Appears to Claim Responsibility

Two Hamas spokespersons praised the killings, appearing to take credit for the shootings. Now, hard-liners in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet are calling for an end to peace talks with the Palestinians, right-wing residents are up in arms and tension abounds within the Palestinian Authority, with forces on alert for Hamas insurgents anxious to sabotage the peace talks. Shocking FDA Egg Report: Chicken Manure 8 Feet High, Rodents, Flies, Maggots, Salmonella

(ChattahBox)— The Food and Drug Administration released its reports of inspectional observations conducted at nine Iowa egg farms attributed to the salmonella outbreak and egg recall, and the conditions found are so foul, you may not want to read this if you had eggs for breakfast this morning. FDA inspectors found piles of chicken manure up to 8-feet high, squirmy maggots, rodents, live and dead flies, too numerous too count and multiple positive results for Salmonella Enteritidis. New regulations put into effect in July, may have prevented the salmonella outbreak that sickened thousands, but the FDA still lacks sufficient authority to force egg farms into compliance. The FDA now plans to conduct on-site inspections of all major egg farms in the U.S in the coming months. Read more

‘Dry Run’ Terror Suspects Carrying ‘Mock Bombs’ Under Questioning in Amsterdam

(ChattahBox)—Two men flying from Chicago to Amsterdam may have been conducting a terrorist “dry run” to test airport security. The men were also carrying suspicious items taped together in their luggage, officials called “mock bombs, such as cell phones taped to a bottle of antacid. The men, of unknown national origin, but believed to be from Yemen, were here in the U.S. legally. The men, identified, as Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al-Soofi and Hezem al-Murisi, are being held at Amsterdam’s Schiphol International and are being questioned by Dutch authorities for a possible “preparation of a terrorist attack,” but they have not been charged.
