Mad Prophet Carl Paladino, Scaring the Bejesus Out of NY Voters (Video)

September 30, 2010

(ChattahBox Political News)—-There is mad and then there is Carl Paladino type of snarling, F-bombing and near-fisticuffs mad. The New York tea party-backed Republican gubernatorial candidate is making headlines this week for his angry confrontation with a New York Post reporter that ended with a Tony Soprano-like “I’m gonna wack you” threat. When reporter Fred Dicker approached Paladino yesterday to ask him to substantiate his charge that his opponent Andrew Cuomo engaged in extramarital affairs, Paladino exploded and started ranting about NY Post reporters staking out the home of his former mistress and love child. “You send another goon to my daughter’s house and I’ll take you out buddy,” shouted Paladino. Michael Caputo, Paladino’s campaign manager responded to the uproar over the videotaped confrontation that has gone viral, pledging that “Carl will take out the trash” and battle media bias. Christine O’Donnell LinkedOut of LinkedIn, After Education Fakery

September 30, 2010

(ChattahBox Political News)—This story is getting stranger, and stranger still. After education falsehoods were discovered on Christine O’Donnell’s LinededIn page, her spokesperson pushed back against claims of resume fudging, as early as September 15, but mentioned nothing about the profile being fake. O’Donnell’s LinkedIn page said she attended the University of Oxford and Claremont Graduate University. She didn’t. And despite years of claiming she earned an undergraduate degree form Fairleigh Dickinson, she didn’t officially obtain her degree until just this month. And there is the matter of her false claim in a lawsuit against a former employer that she was prohibited from pursing graduate courses at Princeton. The Republican senatorial candidate from Delaware and former witchcraft dabbler, now blames the Princeton falsehood on a mistake by her lawyer. And about that error-ridden LinkedIn bio, O’Donnell now claims it was unauthorized and possibly placed online by her political enemies. LinkedIn has now taken down the O’Donnell page at her request, but has offered no additional details about its creation. If you think this all smells fishy, join the club. Read more

September 30, 2010

(ChattahBox Science News) – Research published today provides the first direct evidence that attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a genetic condition. The study also found significant overlap between these segments, known as copy number variants (CNVs), and genetic variants implicated in autism and schizophrenia, proving strong evidence that ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder – in other words, that the brains of children with the disorder differ from those of other children. The Republican candidate, who has already spent $119 million of her own money in the campaign, employed a domestic worker for nine-years, until she was dismissed last June, after admitting she was an undocumented immigrant. The maid, Nicky Diaz, has since hired celebrity attorney Gloria Allred. And the pair held a news conference this afternoon alleging Whitman emotionally and financially abused Diaz, during the time she worked for the Whitman family. Whitman, who has taken a tough stance on illegal immigration, during the campaign, issued a statement denying the claims of abuse made by her former maid, dismissing the charges as the “politics of personal destruction.” Read more
