Microsoft Exec Who Headed Push For Yahoo Quits Post

Veteran Microsoft executive Kevin Johnson, the man who headed up the Microsoft push to try and buy Yahoo Inc. is leaving the company....Washington (ChattahBox) – Veteran Microsoft executive Kevin Johnson, the man who headed up the Microsoft push to try and buy Yahoo Inc. is leaving the company.

Kevin Johnson was the key person trying to make the push from Microsoft’s end to purchase Yahoo Inc., and will now be quitting as president of Microsoft’s platforms and services division.

At his current post, he is in charge of the online service business, as well as Windows software for personal computers.

He will be leaving Microsoft to go and run network services provider Juniper Networks Inc.
