Come on! It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that a person can use the different strength nicotine cartridges to taper down nicotine levels eventually quitting! We do not need to wait 10-20 years for a government laboratory to come back and tell us exactly that! Another thing, You didn’t mention the best place to buy these things, I found http://www.invisismoke.com to be, By Far the cheapest place to get them!

Are you kidding me? Electronic cigarettes are harmless, and an incredible invention! You get the nicotine, but without the 4000+ harmful chemicals that are in regular cigarettes! I can actually breathe now, and I can smoke anywhere regular cigarettes are banned (bars, restaurants, even airplanes!), and I don’t have to pay those ridiculously steep tobacco taxes. Sooooo, what’s the downside?

I found a site that reviews lots of different kinds of e-cigarettes, for anyone considering switching over that wants to learn a little more about them:

    http://greensmokes.blogspot.com

And here are some videos explaining how different e-cigarettes work:

Funny how the FDA has no problem allowing a KNOWN health hazard (cigarettes) to be sold, but they have a problem with the cleaner e-cigarette. Instead of banning it until “thorough testing” takes place, why not do like cigarettes and place a warning on them? The warning could say they haven’t been thoroughly tested. This would put the choice on those who choose to use them, just like cigarettes. Otherwise, it seems the FDA is telling us that the REAL cigarettes are a better alternative to e-cigarettes.

invisismoke.com by far the cheapest? LOL, You haven’t looked very far have you? There are many cheaper sites. People should check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com to find the cheapest sites.

It really winds me up how this discussion always becomes so heated. Why can a product like an electronic cigarette not be approached in a pragmatic way? It’s for people who have tried and failed to stop smoking and no-one else really. For those people this product is potentially of enormous benefit.

It’s Time to change the Old Traditional Tobacco smoking to Electronic Vaping. I bought my electronic cig few moths ago and it works great. The best part about my experience is that I’ve quit traditional tobacco smoking for good & now I choose Vaping rather than smoking. It’s very convenient as well, You can pretty much smoke anywhere where tobacco cigarettes are not allowed so Im very pleased with my Electronic Cig for giving me a pass to smoke everywhere :) http://www.Electroniccig.com

Now now people… these things should totally be banned. Even though I don’t let my kid walk around with 150 dollars to buy these, I still don’t want to deal with the responsibility of raising him and I think the state does a better job at that. Speaking of which… we should think of the states more and stop being so selfish. They are losing tons of tax revenue as smokers switch over. Plus, hospitals and insurance companies will lose money too since there will be less people getting lung cancer and less people to raise premiums. And of course the pharmaceutical industry is getting absolutely no cut in any of this. You know smokers are generally take more risks and are more likely to be rebels… what better way to deal with them than to let them all die off? And I’ll be darned if I’m going to let smokers beat all the anti-smoking associations now that smokers can ‘have their cake and eat it to.” So I’m gonna have to side with the FDA on this one since my comments above are 100% in-line with their views.

I dont see why the FDA is making a big stink about e cigarettes. A regular cig has 4300 chemicals in it and electronic ones hardly any! It’s just the government wanting to get in everyone’s back pocket…again!

I learned that these new devices do not fall under most smoking bans and regulations.
This is due to the fact that these devices are not actually “lit” and create any potential danger for fire.
The smoke emitted from e-cigarette is a odorless vapor mist. In fact, some hospitals and airlines have even welcomed indoor electronic cigarette smoking with open arms.
With the electronic cigarette I can finally free of smoking everywhere. http://www.onlyecig.com

This post is really informative. If you can’t leave your smoking habit immediately you can switch to the smokeless electronic cigarette or e-cigs with which you can really save yourself and your surroundings from the risks that are associated with smoking any traditional cigarette…
