Google Announces New YouTube Partnership Program for News Publishers

June 30, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – Google has released an official statement, inviting news sources who have a current partnership with Google to also become partners in YouTube.

Google is offering news sources the chance to have an official channel on YouTube to increase their visibility as a network. This would be done by becoming official partners in the media sharing website.

“We’re always looking for ways to enhance the way people consume the news, and we have some improvements planned over the next few months. To get things started, Google News and YouTube are teaming up to help news publishers build a bigger audience for their video content,” the official release, posted by Olivia Ma on the Google News Blog, said.
