Attorney General Andrew Cuomo recuses himself from Gov. Paterson probes

(ChattahBox) – To avoid later recriminations, state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says he’s removing himself from his office’s two investigations into the Paterson Administration.  Cuomo has appointed New York State’s widely respected former chief judge, Judith Kaye, as special counsel in his investigation of Governor David Paterson.   Kaye, who was appointed as chief judge to the Court of Appeals by Cuomo’s father, will lead the probe of whether Gov. Paterson or the State Police influenced a Bronx woman to drop a domestic violence case against a top aide to the governor. Read more

Report: Tiger Woods returning in two weeks to play at Arnold Palmer’s tournament

(ChattahBox) – After returning from rehab and seen working on his game in long practice sessions it probably comes as little surprise that Tiger Woods is ready to return to the PGA Tour.  The New York Post is reporting that Tiger Woods will return in two weeks and play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational starting March 25.  Previous reports have Woods first entering in the March 22-23 Tavistock Cup, which will be played at his home course of Isleworth.  Read more
