Acne Series: Proactive Solutions
February 4, 2009
I have heard from some people that the Proactive products are a miracle for acne, and for a few that does seem to be the case. But, despite the number of celebrity endorsements, usually made by middle of the road claims-to-fame, I have heard quite a few more negative statements about this product then I have heard pros. After my own experience with it in my late teens, I have to say my own review is going to be woefully directed to the negative side.
Acne Series: Introduction
February 3, 2009
Alright, so we have covered the anti-aging product line, now it’s time for another important skin topic: acne control. Acne isn’t just a problem that teenagers face. Plenty of adults have their share of blemishes, and it can be a lifelong struggle, not to mention an embarrassing one.
Anti-Aging Series: Salux Nylon Japanese Beauty Skin Bath Wash Cloth/Towel
January 30, 2009
There are two things that are usually true about Japanese products: they are either amazing, or they are really odd. This one is, happily, the former.
Anti-Aging Series: Neutrogena Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Cleanser
January 29, 2009
When I think of Neutrogena, an image immediately comes to mind: a teenage girl, attractive, with dirty blond hair tied back into a ponytail, and perfect skin, tells the camera about her breakout right before Senior Prom. Oh no! Whatever will she do? Luckily, Neutrogena is there to save the day with their latest cleanser, moisturizer, or gel, and her invisible pimples are gone.
Anti-Aging Series: Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging UV Moisturizer
January 28, 2009
The name may be a mouthful, but the product is fantastic. Because it is a 7-in-1, it will be impossible for me to tell you for sure if it works as well as it claims, but it does certainly show results, and that’s what’s really important when it comes to trying it out, isn’t it?
Anti-Aging Series: Avon’s Anew Ultimate Contouring Eye System
January 26, 2009
Avon has long since been considered one of the best in the skin care business. From acne eliminators, to moisturizing creams, they have always had the market pegged, and so it’s not surprising that at least one of their products has made it onto my list. Avon’s Anew Ultimate Contouring Eye System has been a product that I have often heard about, and so I knew I had to review it.
Anti-Aging Series: RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream
January 22, 2009
When I was trying to decide which of the many products for my anti-aging series to start with, the top of my list was always covered with retinol-based creams. I finally settled on RoC, and upon further examination, I definitely feel like it was the right choice to kick things off. Not only has it received some amazing reviews, but the fact that it contains retinol can only be a plus.
Anti-Aging Products: The New Wave Of Beauty Technology
January 22, 2009
Let’s face it, we live in a superficial world. Beauty products are always at the head of the market, and with a culture that is becoming less obsessed with youth, and more focused on enhancing the natural beauty of a mature woman, anti-aging products are all the rage. But the days of painful, dangerous treatments like facelifts, and Botox, are coming to a close, and not a moment too soon. The way has been cleared for over the counter age defense, and companies everywhere are taking advantage of the demand.
Plan Ahead For Visiting National Parks In 2009
December 29, 2008
US (ChattahBox) – In an increasingly developing world, it isn’t surprising that more people are turning to nature to balance things out. Which is why national parks are quickly becoming the most popular vacation spots, taking the place of locations like DisneyLand and the beach, which have so long dominated the travel scene.
A look at the new Mac Book
November 28, 2008
(ChattahBox) — Looks like Steve Jobs and his team down at Apple Corp have done it again. At first glance, the new Mac Book released this October of 2008 is exquisite. The design is meticulous in detail as one would expect from an Apple. The new Mac Book still adheres to the simple-yet-beautiful philosophy. The sculpted lines are still minimalist in character with the glossy display, the sunken keyboard design, and the non-mechanical magnetic latch still intact which are all inherited from its ancestor–the iBook G4.
Enough with drooling over the aesthetics. The main question is: “Does the Mac Book pack the goodies?” Apple had announced that it was bringing some exciting but still costly technology to the new Mac book. I thought Apple would have integrated Blue ray or some large capacity standard solid-state drives, but, unfortunately, there were none. Read more
