Fanboy, Other Words Now In Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Boston (ChattahBox) - Merriam-Webster has added around 100 new words to the dictionary including fanboy.

Merrian-Webster has continued to strive to stay up-to-date with all of the popular words, and has added around 100 new words to their Collegiate Dictionary..

One of the more interesting additions is fanboy, and has an official definition according to the dictionary as a “boy who is an enthusiastic devotee, such as of comics or movies.”

Other new words added include prosecco, soju, infinity pool, mondegreen, and many more.
