Hip Hop Confession Leads a Man to Prison

Dublin (ChattahBox) — Rico Todriquez Wright, 25, was ordered to 20 years in jail after his victim recognized his voice on a CD. Rico shot Chad Blue, 28, twice – once on the thigh and then on the groin. He felt so good about it that he wrote a hip hop song – Chad Knows How I Shoot. The song described the shooting and called the victim by his name.

Chad told the police that he had known Wright before September 2006 and they weren’t on friendly terms. He recognised Rico’s voice on a CD rapping the hip hop confession. Wright was sentenced 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault and will also spend 20 years on probation.
