hi my name is mike i am vbery woorry for my cousin he is only 8 years old and the doctor told him that they don’t know what is wrong with him. He said that under his knen down a little wont stop growing. if you get the email would you able to tell us what to do.

I just saw Mandy’s story on TV today, it was both saddening and inspiring! Near the end of the program I kept telling myself,”Why don’t they just remove the extra fat from the legs and she’d won’t need amputation!” But upon reading your article here, I see that something similar has been tried… but with the amazingly tragic result of making the tissue regenerate DOUBLE what had been removed! Where can I go to keep abreast of what has been tried… and to offer her my best wishes for her future?— Alex C.

i am watching the story about mady today. I would love to tell her to keep on trying and to try to get in touch with jehovah witnesses they will really help. Dont give up!!!!Stay strong.

I watched a special about Mandy on TLC the other night and have not been able to get her off my mind. I keep thinking about her- a real person out there struggling day after day. The day after I watched the show I was so aware of how much I take for granted. I felt very inspired by Mandy and a deep admiration and compassion was roused within me. I also wondered how her experience has affected her thoughts and beliefs about God. I don’t know how to get in touch with Mandy but if there is any way that I can I would love to chat with her and hear her insights about life and Jesus through her unique experience. Kristy
