New ‘Death Machine’ To Be Launched For Assisted Suicide

December 19, 2008

Australia (ChattahBox) – Dr Philip Nitschke has always created quite a bit of controversy. As a medical professional who is an outspoken supporter of assisted suicide, he had now taken his cause one step further. Dr. Nitschke has created a ‘death machine’, the first ever euthanasia device that can kill a person without pain, drugs, or detectable chemicals or causes during autopsy.

This machine uses household items to deliver a quick death, and makes it much more difficult to rule a death a suicide, side-stepping issues of the legality of assisting an ill patient to die, or life insurance claims for the remaining family.

While many are claiming that this device has to be illegal, Nitschke claims the Australian government can’t restrict it’s production because it uses no restricted substances.

“It’s hard to see how the Government could possibly restrict access to common cylinders, and certainly there’s no way they could restrict access to the gas,” he told reporters.

Dr, Nitschke has gathered a following of several thousand people, who regularly attend his workshops on assisted suicide. His most common followers are the elderly, who have flocked to his lectures in record numbers over the last year.
