Black & White Twins Born Once Again To Lucky Couple

January 1, 2009

England (ChattahBox) – When Dean Durrant and Alison Spoonder first had their twins in 2001, two healthy baby girls, they were astonished: one was white, with red hair and blue eyes, the other was black, with dark hair and eyes.

Each girl took after their family in a birth trait that is very rarely seen.

But then, the two proud parents found out they were expecting twins again, both girls once more, which is an unlikely enough occurrence as it is.

Miya and Leah, born this week, were found to have the same birth trait as their siblings, with one white, the other black, and it would seem that the rarity had become a near statistical impossibility.

“The girls just love Miya and Leah to bits. We didn’t think it was even possible when we had Lauren and Hayleigh — and it didn’t cross our minds that it could happen again. But we are just delighted that it has,” Dean, the proud papa, told reporters.
