DNA test confirms 13-Year Old Alfie Patten NOT the father

March 27, 2009

(ChattahBox) — Remember little 13-year-old Alfie Patten, who made the  headlines over in the UK after it was reported that he impregnated a 15-year-old girl when he was 12? Apparently he is NOT father of the child he wanted to help raise. The mother, Chantelle Stedman who told Alfie that he was the father apparently is a little tramp. When the story hit, other teenage boys came forward saying they might be the father. One, a 16-year-old that has claimed to have slept with the mother a number of times; the other, a 14-year-old who says he slept with Chantelle around nine months ago, and is worried he may be the father. This motivated Alfie’s dad to demand a DNA test.  The UK  Mirror says Alfie is devastated about the news:

The result will be a blow to Alfie who was “devastated” by the boys’ claims and “adored” Maisie.

He was convinced he was the dad after a single night of unprotected sex with Chantelle.

Before he took the test, he said: “I didn’t know about DNA tests before but mum explained it’s when they do a swab in your mouth and it tells if you’re the dad. So if I have it, they can all shut up.”

His mum Nicole, 43, added at the time: “It had not even crossed Alfie’s mind whether Chantelle had not been faithful to him. He’s absolutely devastated that these lads say they slept with her.”

Alfie had made it clear that he wanted to be an active father to the child but now what? Should they give DNA tests to all the boys who said they might be the father.

I think it is in best interest to test all the boys that claim there the father then it will prove to whom the Genetic father is and then later down the road the little girl will know who the biological dad is but Alfie can be a real dad by help raising her if he feels he can handle it although he is such a babe him self he really should not think of being a father at such a young age, Until he is older. Its alot of hard work and takes alot of patients and energy to raise a child. If anything he should concentrate on school and getting his diploma then think about getting married and having kids afterwords. I know cause i had my 1st at 24 and was glad that i graduated when i did then got married and had a little life to get to know my mate.

I think that the mom of the child should think before she opens her mouth before she speaks. I know i would feel awful If i got a girl pregnat. She could have very well ruined the little boys life, because she had to say something that probally is n’t true.
