Police Deliver Woman’s Baby In A Snowstorm

April 27, 2009

Colorado (ChattahBox) – A baby was delivered by a Colorado deputy after a couple got stuck in a snowstorm as the woman went into labor.

It was 1 AM when the Nylunds left their home to head for the hospital, but the heavy snow fall made it difficult to drive, and by 3 AM Stephanie Nylund knew the baby was coming.

Her husband managed to flag down two police officers, and it was Deputy Tony Mayns who delivered the little boy on the side of the highway.

Both mother and son are doing well.
