Idiot Burglar Leaves Facebook Page Up At Robbed House

September 18, 2009

Pennsylvania (ChattahBox) – Appearing to prove the point of another story written this morning, a 19-year-old burglar has been arrested after leaving his profile on Facebook at a house he had just broken into a robbed.

Jonathan G. Parker allegedly broke into someone’s home through a window in their garage, stole two diamond rings valued at $3500, and left. But before heading out, he decided a status update was in order.

He reportedly used the house’s computer to check his Facebook account, and one has to wonder what it is he decided to update. Perhaps something along the lines of “JUST BREAKIN IN N ROBBIN SUM PPLS LOL!!!1”

The owner of the house called the police when she realized there was a break-in, and told police that two rings had been taken, and that his name and Facebook page were up on her computer.

Parker was arrested by police shortly after, as he was recognized as staying in the neighborhood.

He is being held on $10,000 bail, and could be facing up to 10 years in prison.

Authorities should take on a few extra for sheer stupidity.
