Guards In UK Prison Allowed Drug Dealer to Grow Marijuana In Cell

December 8, 2009

U.K. (ChattahBox) – After convincing guards that a series of four-foot plants in his cell were tomatoes, a drug dealer serving eight years for selling Class A drugs was found to be growing marijuana in his cell.

The plants were in full view for anyone to see, including those in the courtyard who could look up and see them through the cell’s window. Mohamed Jalloh even decorated one as a Christmas tree.

It was eventually a fellow inmate, who was jealous of the fact that Jalloh was allowed to keep them, that alerted guards as to what the plants really were. They then confirmed it on Google.

The plants have been taken, and Jalloh will likely face other charges.

Ah, the ignorance of law enforcement on the topics they are supposed to be experts on. Grand!
