Police Called After Grisly Discovery Of Human Heads On Southwest Flight
June 17, 2010
Arkansas (ChattahBox) – A Southwest Airline Employee was shocked when she discovered a case filled with human heads headed to Minnesota.
After calling the police, a full investigation was launched. What they found was that the improperly packaged and transported heads were meant to be used for medical and educational research purposes by a company called Medtronic.
While there is nothing strange about this in itself, the way the heads were packaged and sent on the flight has made the police suspicious of possible black market ties.
“We just want to make sure these specimens here aren’t a part of that black market and underground trade,” Garland Camper of the Pulaski County coroner’s office said, describing the cases as holding 40 – 60 human heads.
Medtronic spokesman Brian Henry disputes this count, saying there were “four full cranial specimens and 40 pairs of temporal bone ear blocks” originally ordered.
But he also said they require all suppliers to follow full procedures, which the original company did not do.
The heads came from JLS Consulting in Wynn, Arkansas. According to records, their license was suspended last year.
No one has come forward with a statement from JLS.
