Giant Hamburgers Cause Locked Jaws in Taiwan?
July 9, 2010
(ChattahBox)—Apparently Taiwan is experiencing an epidemic of damaged jaws from scoffing down American-style fast food burgers. Are the Taiwanese out of their league when it comes to the fine art of dining on disgusting, calorie and fat laden mounds of beef and cheese? Seems to be the case.
According to a group of dentists, giant burgers higher than 3-inches are causing diner’s jaws to lock up.
“Fast food restaurants in Taiwan have been urged to drop big burgers from their menus amid a growing number of jaw injuries, according to a report.”
“Patients have had difficulty opening their mouths after munching giant burgers, said Professor Hsu Ming-lung, of National Yang-Ming University.”
