Patrick Swayze Shooting The Beast, Smacking Down Cancer

Hollywood (ChattahBox) - Patrick Swayze is hard at work once again on the new A&E series, The Beast. This comes as his miracle recovery continues as he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year.
According to reports, Patrick Swayze looks like his old self again, full of energy and ready to go to work.
He will be playing the character of FBI agent Charles Barker in the show. He needs to teach a young detective the ropes. That young detective is played by actor Travis FImmel.
When he spoke to People magazine, Swayze stated “I’m a miracle dude…I don’t know why.”
As he is shooting, he is still going through treatment for his cancer at the Stanford University Medical Center.
The show will make its premiere in 2009, and is being shot in Chicago.
