Throughout the night, Kenny Chesney played all of his hits, with new stuff such as “Wild Ride,” “Don’t Blink,” and others, to old classics such as “Guitars and Tiki Bars.”

The crowd began coming into the parking lot in droves early Saturday morning to begin the tailgating beforehand, getting ready for the night ahead of them.

They were not to be disappointed either, as the opening acts, which were concluded by a fantastic set done by Keith Urban, set the stage for a truly memorable performance by Mr. Chesney.

There is a reason why he has sold more concert tickets than any other act in music in the past years, and it showed Saturday night.

Kenny Chesney, caught up with everything going on, made it clear that Boston is becoming a very special place to him, making note of it throughout the show.

Kenny Chesney has become a part of the summer in New England for years now, and continues to sell out Gillette Stadium year in and year out, playing unique songs such as “She Comes From Boston.”

He was joined through performances with both Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots Players.

Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield joined him, as did Teddy Bruschi from the Patriots and others, singing “Back Where I Come From.”

Needless to say, it was a very memorable night at Gillette Stadium, and the crowd left more than happy. Everyone can start planning next year’s summer around Kenny Chesney as well, as odds are he’ll be back to do it again.
