The Police tour ended up being the highest-grossing tour of 2007, and went on for a period of 14-months straight.

The band closed out the tour with many huge hits from the 1970s and 1980s, including some covers from Jimi Hendrix, Cram, and others.

Sting stated during the show, “The real triumph of this tour is that we haven’t strangled each other. Not to say it hasn’t crossed my mind, or Andy’s or Stewart’s.”

Others who joined up on stage included three of Sting’s daughters, and a performance from the New York City police band.

The tour ended up grossing $350 million, as Sting showed that they can still rock.
