Legendary R&B singer Isaac Hayes has died at the age of 65, after being pronounced dead on Sunday in Memphis, Tennessee..Hollywood (ChattahBox) – Legendary R&B singer Isaac Hayes has died at the age of 65, after being pronounced dead on Sunday in Memphis, Tennessee.

Isaac Hays is a former Oscar winner, as well as a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He was found next to a treadmill by his relatives, and was not able to be revived on Sunday at his home.

He was pronounced dead around 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

The cause of death was not immediately known, but so far it does not appear that any foul play was involved.

he is seen as a man who laid down the foundation for both disco and rap.

He is known for classic songs such as the “Theme From Shaft,” and was also the voice of Chef on the hit show South Park.

Other works include his Hot Buttered Soul album in 1969, as well as some movie roles in the 1970s, 1980s, and most recently in Hustle and Flow.

He has been married four times, with 12 children.
