Disability advocates have made their voices heard about the fact that they are none to happy with the new film.

According to the disability advocates, their reasoning for the protest revolves around the excessive use of the word “retard” during the film.

Protesters have been out and about, callingf or the movie to be banned, stating that the word “retard” is hate speech.

Ben Stiller’s comedy Tropic Thunder is set to open this Wednesday, and has him playing a mentally challenged man.

The majority of scenes in the film with the word are said to be spoken by Robert Downey Jr.

The DreamWorks film, needless to say, is under quite a bit of fire.
