The question remains though, will it be able to beat out The Dark Knight?

The Dark Knight has won the box office for four weekends in-a-row now, and seems pretty unstoppable at this point.

The ironic thing about this is the fact that this weekend could likely have The Dark Knight surpass the original Star Wars film from 1977, to become the No. 2 grossing movie of all-time.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is the first animated Star Wars film, and was made as basically a high-end pilot for the upcoming television show on Cartoon Network, which will air this fall.

The film bridges the gap between Episode II and Episode III ini the Star Wars saga, and showcases the conflict between a Clone army led by Count Dooku, and the jed.

Major actors have worked on the film, including Samuel L. Jackson doing his voice for Mace Windu, as well as Anthony Daniels doing C-3PO, and Christopher Lee doing Count Dooku.
