The delay pushed back the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from November 2008, to July 2009

Harry Potter fans, to say the least, are outraged and disgusted by the move, as they obviously are not prepared to wait another 8-months for the movie.

Many fans have come out firing at Warner Bros., stating that the only reason they did it was to try to make more money off of the film at the box office.

Other locations where Harry Potter fans have made their voices hear are in petitions, as well as on Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace.

Protests are even being planned outside of the corporate headquarters of Warner Bros. in New York.

Warner Bros. has stated the delay will have no impact on the release of the final tow movies in the franchise.
