The film stars Rainn Wilson, who plays the character Robert “Fish” Fishman, who is a typical kid from the 80s.

He is a drummer in the metal band known as Vesuvius, as they continue to push their way to being big stars.

Right before the band signs a major record deal though, he is kicked out of the band due to the fact that he is a nerd, and may not be the best-looking guy.

20-years later, FIsh is going absolutely nowhere, while Vesuvius is set to pretty much write their names into rock history.

He meets his nephew, Josh Gad, who asks him to fill in as a drummer on their band A.D.D.

Things escalate, and it leads to Fish basically setting up dates for the band, and moving forward.

The film has been received with mix reviews from critics, but overall it appears to be a very entertaining film.
