It has been confirmed that 82-year old actress Cloris Leachman will join the cast of celebrities to compete in the next season of the hit ABC show, Dancing With the Stars.....Hollywood (ChattahBox) – It has been confirmed that 82-year old actress Cloris Leachman will join the cast of celebrities to compete in the next season of the hit ABC show, Dancing With the Stars.

ABC announced on Monday that the Oscar winner, 82-year old Leachman, will become the oldest contestant in the history of the show.

The previous contestant to hold this mark was 66-year old George Hamilton, who took part in seaosn two of the show.

The big question is, does she actually have a chance to win the competition? A lot depends on her competition, but it is clear that she is still very active.

She also has just finished work on a series of new films as well, sos he is not resting to say the least right now.

She won an Oscar for her supporting role in The Last Picture Show in 1971.

She has also won 8 Primetime Emmy awards, the most ever by an actress.

Others who have been confirmed to be a part of th ecast include Lance Bass from ‘N Sync, Tony Braxton, Misty May-Treanor, Maurice Green, Kim Kardashian, Cody Linley, and Susan Lucci.
