Britney Spears Will Not Perform At MTV VMAs

Hollywood (ChattahBox) - If you were hoping to see Britney Spears perform at the MTV Video Music Awards next month, you will be disappointed.
Britney Spears’ manager at Jive Records, Larry Rudolph, has come out and stated that she will not be performing at this years awards show.
Britney Spears performed at the 2007 MTV VMAs, doing the song Gimme More. Needless to say, it went down in history as one of the worst performances of all-time.
Rudolph put out a satement saying “Contrary to media reports, Britney was never slated to perform on this year’s VMAs. She’s in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and her focus remains on the studio.”
Rumors have been swirling for months that Spears was going to try to get back into shape to perform at the show this year.
It is not happening though. She will apparently still be there though as her video Piece of Me is up for Video of the Year.
