The film, starring Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce and Neal McDonough, appears to be a great choice for those who want some action this summer.

Traitor opens up in Sudan in the late 1970s, showing Samir as a young boy.

His world though is quickly destroyed as his father is blown up in a car explosion.

Moving forward to present-day Yemen, you see Samir as an adult, played by Don Cheadle.

He works as an arms dealer basically, supplying explosives in Afghanistan.

Police catch up to Samir though, as he is arrested and thrown in jail.

Not knowing the real story behind, FBI agent Clayton and Archer (Guy Pearce and Neal McDonough) step into the scene.

Traitor is being received with mixed reviews from critics, but appears to be a great action-thriller.
