Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton speaking at the Democratic National Convention managed to draw some huge ratings on Tuesday night...........Hollywood (ChattahBox) – Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton speaking at the Democratic National Convention managed to draw some huge ratings on Tuesday night.

The Democratic National Convention has continued to pick up steam in the ratings, growing each and every night.

Tuesday night was the second night of the DNC, and managed to grab an average of 26 million viewers in primetime across broadcast and cable networks.

This is a huge jump from the 22.3 million who tuned in to see the DNC kick off on Monday night.

The big winner in the primetime 10 p.m. slot was CNN, which took in 4.8 million viewers on average.

They were in second player overall, but led all cable networks.

The overall winner was NBC with 5.98 million viewers, while ABC took in 4.76 million.

Following those 3 was CBS with 3.82 million, Fox News with 3.48 million, and MSNBC with 2.57 million.

Compared to the DNC in 2004, the ratings were five times higher this year on day two.
