Researchers at the RAND research organization carried out a 3-year study.

This was the first study to link racy television programming to sexual behavior in teens, which leads to teen pregnancy.

Researchers conducted the study on 718 teens between the ages of 12 and 17.

They surveyed them three times between 2001 and 2004, asking about their TV viewing habits, pregnancy, as well as history of sexual behavior.

What they found was that out of the 718 teens, 91 became pregnant by the end of the 3-years.

Those who watched programming on TV with sexual content were twice as likely to become pregnant or cause a pregnancy.

The study was published in the journal Pediatrics.
