James Bond Quantum of Solace enjoyed the best box office opening of any Bond film ever taking in $70.4 million.<br /> .....Hollywood (ChattahBox) – James Bond Quantum of Solace enjoyed the best box office opening of any Bond film ever taking in $70.4 million.

Quantum of Solace is the sequel to the 2006 hit Casino Royale and has proven to be a major success.

Daniel Craig is back and beat out the debut of Casino Royale by more than $30 million.

This is the biggest Bond opening to date, beaing Die Another Day which opened by taking in $45 million in 2002.

The worldwide earnings for the Bond film now stand at $322 million.
