Miss California’s Breast Implants: Pageant Foot the Bill

(ChattahBox)—Carrie Prejean, Miss California had her breast implants paid for by the Miss California Organization, just a few weeks before the Miss USA pageant. Shanna Moakler, co-executive director of the Miss California Organization, confirmed that the organization picked up the tab for Prejean’s new breasts.
Since her loss as Miss USA, Prejean has been MIA and according to Moakler, Prejean’s Pageant bosses want to talk to her.
Prejean created quite a stir when answering a question during the competition, saying she believed marriage should only be between a man and woman. The question was asked by Pageant judge Perez Hilton, a gay blogger. She has since been criticized by many, including Hilton for expressing her belief against the rights of gay couples to marry.
It was thought by some that Prejean’s answer to Hilton’s question, may have cost her the Miss USA title. Many conservative groups came out to support Prejean and her stance against gay marriage and it seems she may have received more media coverage, because of the gay marriage issue, than she ever would have, had she won the title.
Prejean is now taking her conservatism along with her new breasts, courtesy of the Miss California Organization, and is trying to extend her time in the media spotlight. She will soon appear in an ad funded by the conservative group, National Organization for Marriage, where she will be the spokesperson for “opposite-sex marriage.”
Meanwhile, Shanna Moakler says Prejean needs to call her, saying pageant officials have been trying to contact Prejean and are being put off to Prejean’s mom and press person. Maybe they want their breasts back.

This is one of those situations where I am so sick of seeing and hearing about a topic, but can’t stop listening and reading!
