She, as many Americans, has lost her right to voice her own opinion. It did not matter what she said. If she had said she was for gay marriage, she would have been scorned for that too. It is sad that people cannot voice their opinion in the land of the free.

For reference: I am not religious and very liberal.

Divorce rate is pretty insignificant compared to the effects of birth rate.

Have a look at this. I’m not implying anything about Islam so put away the race card and I admit this has been dramatized for propaganda reasons but isn’t the math as valid anyway. I believe homosexuality is wrong just as I believe that heterosexual couples who just prefer not to have children are make a big mistake. Even though I’m not religious I found this quote kind of appropriate: “God is forgiving… Nature is a B____H”

Why the hell would anyone need to BASH RELIGION if its not the fundamentalists who keep shoving it down peoples throats.
Guess what else is an abomination? ADULTERY.
Christians should also use the same political strength in preventing adulterers from remarrying. Of course, that would be just wishful thinking. Who knows how many adulterers are actually devout Christians. That’s like shooting yourself in the foot.

Divorce rate in the US stand at 50% for first marriages, 67% for second marriages, and 74% for third marriages.
Hardly the core of American Society. It’s more like the cause for thousands of broken homes.

I for one do not want the word marriage to disappear, but i strongly believe in separation of church and state.

#1 Bash religion…. that word marriage really scares them. They don’t really want it but it bugs them that heterosexuals have a centuries old definition for their partnership that implies more than a hedonistic sexual pairing.
