This reminds me of Chris Daughtrey. He should have won hands down. Adam Lambert should have won hands down. I can not believe he didn’t. He would have made them a lot of money. Chris is marketable because he is the nice boy next door sort of guy. Adam is the hard rocker. How many hard rockers have won American Idol? Looking back NONE>>>>>>> I think the judges should be able to over ride America because really they know which one will do the best. They were shocked as well…. Should have been Adam hands down.

I think being on the front of a popular magaizne got adam more votes than this text scandal. Adam should be under fire just as much.

Can’t wait to hear Adam as lead singer for a hot rock band. Those studio versions of his performances are awful and are missing the gut wrenching emotion he puts into his interpretation of a song. Just my opinion, Adam is the best. Ring of Fire blew me away as did Mad World. But he does great with Led Zeppelin, Queen, Cook and just about anything he sings. Doesn’t matter who won. Several of the top contestants will become very successful but I’m not sure one of them will be Kris Allen.
