June 24, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are simply overjoyed, with the birth of their twin girls born to a surrogate on Monday in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The twin girls came a bit early, before their expected mid-summer due date.

The baby girls are named Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick. Matthew Broderick just arrived back from a trip to Ohio to see his new daughters, in between performances of his hit Broadway show, “The Philanthropist.”

Mathew Broderick told People Magazine, “I’m very happy. I don’t know what else to say.”

The happy couple have been readying the nursery in their West Village brownstone in New York, City.

The two new additions to the family will join Parker’s and Broderick’s 6-year-old son, James Wilkie.

The residents of the rural town of Martins Ferry are celebrating the birth of the twin girls along with Parker and Broderick. Martins Ferry mayor Phil Wallace, is planning to send a gift to the happy couple.
