One must assume that CLSA has chosen a speaker from whom its membership has something to learn, evidently commensurate with the intelligence of the membership. Given Palin’s support, for the Bush Administration’s fiscal and economic policies, as far as she is capable of interpreting them, the selection of her as speaker suggests that the financial community hasn’t learned a thing from the economic disaster it created and are the same reckless, gluttonous, avaricious lot who jumped on deregulation like carrion on a corpse and devoured the global economy. By choosing Sarah Palin as its keynote speaker, CLSA holds up a flag that shows its true colors.
Is Sarah Palin still in hiding, perfecting her Yukon comedy act for the CLSA conference in Hong Kong this month?
But seriously, bless Rupert Murdoch’s heart. Sarah Palin is locked away, as her handlers try to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Hope they can get the job done in time.
What some people won’t do for money.
I would love to hear her speak, she climbed all the way to become Governor of a state and did it by herself. Something I doubt most of her detractors could accomplish, including the author of this article who seemed surprised at her selection.
