I watched the pre-screening of Paranormal Activity the night before yesterday and absolutely loved it! And I am going to see it again tonight! It was my first time seeing the first-person camera work because I haven’t watched the Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield because I didn’t hear good reviews on them, plus, I wasn’t interested in puking during the film. Paranormal Activity wasn’t marketed as being based on true events, regardless, it did a superb job of building suspense and then scaring the heck out of the audience!! I’ve had trouble sleeping….but no regrets.

Oh, and Paranormal Activity was not a nauseating film.

the Blair witch was a witch who made stick people in the trees so that is. How you know when she kills!!!!

I am a psychic/medium, so I no longer get scared when watching ghost movies or paranormal shows, but I have to say this trailer freaked me out! I HAVE TO GO SEE IT! lol

I know a few folks that hate Paranormal Activity, because they think of these kinds of films as “cheat” movies. Personally, I liked it, even if it’s flawed for sure, it’s still impressive to pull off a movie for $15k in a week. I wrote about this in my own Paranormal Activity review, if you care to share it. I’ll definitely check out his next film, but I’m hoping he’s improved his storytelling.
