Woman In Chimp Attack Reveals Damaged Face On Oprah
November 11, 2009
U.S. (ChattahBox) – Charla Nash, the woman who was attacked by a friend’s chimpanzee in February, has recorded an interview with Oprah Winfrey, revealing for the first time the extent of damage that was done to her face.
Her nose, hands, and an eye lid were ripped off, and her mouth is now a hole where her lips used to be. The damage is shocking and complete, and only her forehead is intact, all of which was reported at the time of the attack earlier this year.
However, nothing can prepare you for the reality, which was shown for the first time in an interview with Oprah.
In the clip, shown below, the two sit down together one on one, away from the usual audience.
Oprah slowly removes the veiled hat, which Nash wears at all times to hide her face from the other patients at the hospital she resides in, and we are given a look at what happened to her.
“I don’t ask a whole lot about my injuries… I know that I have my forehead,” she told Oprah, explaining that she tries not to touch her face in an attempt to keep from feeling the damage for herself. Warning the videos may be upsetting so please view with discretion.

This inteview was done for nothing but ratings. To use that poor woman that way was inexcusable. She even used her starting to raise her veil as a tease into the next segment. If you want to do something Oprah, how about releaing some of your billions to this poor soul to make sure she’s comfortable the rest of her life.
