Brock Lesnar seriously ill after mysterious collapse in Canada

(ChattahBox) — There’s an ominous air of mystery surrounding the health of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, after it emerged he is seriously ill with an unnamed condition. Lesnar originally pulled out of a November 18 fight and reports suggested he had swine flu. The fight was rescheduled for January 2, but then it was announced Lesnar had mononucleosis. UFC president Dana White made made it clear last night this goes beyond mono after UFC 105, saying Brock is seriously ill in the hospital after collapsing in Canada: “He’s in a hospital up in North Dakota somewhere right now, but may have to go to the Mayo Clinic or another top facility. “He went to Canada and some bad stuff happened to him, so we’ve got to figure it out … He doesn’t want to talk about it publicly, but he’s in bad shape. He’s not well and he’s not going to be getting well anytime soon … He’s very, very sick and he’s going to be out for a while. He’s got a lot of problems.”
White declined to give further details of the nature of Lesnar’s illness, though he did rule out AIDS or cancer as being the cause. Once a renowned collegiate and professional wrestler the 32-year-old Lesnar, won the heavyweight belt in only his third UFC match last year.
