One example that compares is that the “National Enquirer” has brought down and exposed John Edwards, mistress, “lovechild” and all . Has John Edwards come forward to fight it ? NO ! And why not ??? Because what the NE published about him is TRUE ! They caught him and he has since then been and will remain ….. OVER … Another example is Olympian Michael Phelps … in this case, a british boulevard rag caught him ON FILM smoking pot, a story the NE picked up and b l e w up … and we ALL remember the price Michael Phelps paid for his “hit”, do we not ?

The NE for the kind of publication it is imperatively double, triple and quadruple verifies its information and does not go forward until they are positive the information is good ! One just think about what legal liabilities they would expose themselves to if they did not ! I am by no means an advocate for the “National Enquirer” by a long shot, not at all – on the contrary ! HOWEVER: I F the story that Tiger Woods has cheated on his wife (for that matter on his children also !) with this floosy turns out to be fact, and it IS TRUE that he “sexted” with and bedded her, his sponsors will strip him of his endorsements and it will stain him as a Role Model for young people for the rest of this life. This is NOT all about money by a long shot, these sponsors do not pay millions of dollars to a “Hero” that allows himself to FALL – and all for a piece of $&% – there A R E morals involved here ! Thank God that morals still take predominance over money.

The girl who was paid $25K to spill her guts was without question advised of the consequences this might have beforehand. IF she lied, Tiger Woods will crucify her, but if she DID NOT (!) then he is finished ! How do we know that Tiger will not pay off his floosy to RETRACT this story, and all with help of a capacity like attorney Gloria Allred ?? This floosy can afford legal representation like this ?
