ABC ‘unfriends’ Adam Lambert Again – Cancels Two More Scheduled Performances

December 3, 2009

(ChattahBox) — ABC has found it necessary to reportedly cancel two more scheduled performances by former American Idol star Adam Lambert,  after his controversial American Music Awards performance. The network previously dropped his appearance on Good Morning America right after the AMA’s, saying his stage style was not suited for a morning show.

This time ABC has decided it might not be a good idea for Lambert to make his scheduled appearance on Jimmy Kimmel late night Live outdoor concert., reports TVGuide.com.

We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time,” a cold-footed ABC spokesperson said of the scheduled Dec. 17 performance.

Lambert, wrote on his Twitter account, that he’s also been nixed from ABC’s New Years countdown Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, but that has not been confirmed. ” He again kindly said, “don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat.”

While ABC seems to have decided Lambert’ stage style doesn’t fit late night TV either, NBC doesn’t seem to be bothered by FCC heat, confirming Lambert will appear on The Jay Leno Show Dec. 21.
