December 10, 2009

U.S. (ChattahBox) – Chris Cuomo made an announcement this morning, telling his fans that he will be leaving Good Morning America to co-host 20/20.

“It is a dream job for a journalist like me, but it was also a very difficult decision, because I am leaving a special place and crew and all of you and you are all part of my family.”

That was the message of Chris’ statement this morning, when he told viewers that he would be leaving GMA to co-anchor the popular journalism show 20/20 with Elizabeth Vargas.

JuJu Chang (shown above right) will be taking his place. She will be joining hard hitter George Stephanopoulos who is also a new comer to Good Morning America, and Robin Roberts.
