U.S. (ChattahBox) – After decades in the industry, working everything from television, to movies, to the stage, Gene Barry has passed away at the age of 90.

Known best perhaps for his role as Dr. Clayton Forrester in the film adaption of ‘War of the Worlds’ in 1953, and a small part in the 2005 remake, he has also famously starred in shows such as Burke’s Law, and Bat Masterson (photo left).

He has continued acting through his entire life, making him a consummate professional that came out of an era of greats that have since become legend.

Gene Barry is survived by his children Elizabeth, Michael, and Frederick. He joins his wife, who passed away in 2003.
