Like Elvis, Tiger Woods Sightings Explode: Is He in Rehab?
January 13, 2010
(ChattahBox)— There have been more reported sightings of beleaguered golfer and serial cheater Tiger Woods than Elvis, since he crashed his SUV into a tree on Thanksgiving and nearly a dozen mistresses came out of the woodwork. Soon after the incident, he was spotted playing golf alone at night, like a ghost of Tiger past. Later reports put Woods on his yacht sailing away into the sunset to an unknown tropical destination. Then he was supposedly spotted in Africa. And recent reports say he has been hiding out at the secluded Long Island estate belonging to friend and CEO of Cablevision and owner of Madison Square Garden and the New York Knicks, Jim Dolan. But according to a report in People, Tiger has been receiving treatment for sexual addiction at a private clinic in Arizona.
Sources have told People Magazine that Tiger Woods quietly checked in to the The Meadows, a clinic in Wickenburg, Arizona sometime around the holidays.
According to the account in people:
“A sex-therapy expert who claims to be familiar with the situation says Woods, 34, showed up in Wickenburg around New Year’s and would likely plan to stay for 4 to 5 weeks of treatment. “He should be out by Valentine’s Day or thereabouts.”
When residents of the small town of Wickenburg heard that Tiger Woods may have taken up temporary resident there, a local pizza joint put up a sign reading: “Hey, Tiger, we deliver.”
Drew Pinsky, host of Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew weighed in on the Woods’ problems, believing that Tiger has more of a love addiction than a sexual one.
Wherever Tiger is at the moment, he is expected to return to golf sometime in the spring.
