CBS Reviewing Gay Dating Ad For Superbowl

January 29, 2010

(ChattahBox) – CBS is currently reviewing an ad for ManCrunch.com, a dating site for gay men, to air during the Superbowl.

The site features three men watching the game. Two reach into the bowl of chips and feel their hands brush. They look at one another and begin making out while the third looks on in shock and confusion.

The slogan then plays, stating ManCrunch is the place “Where Many Many Many Men Come Out to Play.”

The site’s ad has not been approved, but is awaiting a decision from execs.

While possibly controversial for, CBS has already shown a willingness to play commercials that might generate some debate.

They have already approved an ad for Focus on the Family, which will feature quarterback Tim Tebow as an anti-abortion commercial for the Christian group.

It seems a little ridiculous if CBS denies ManCrunch’s ad, while allowing the Superbowl to become a place for advocacy groups to state their agenda.

Chris – I have to assume this was a random spam post, because there is no way you could have read this article and found anything in it about “Christian Dating”.
