Corey Haim Death Linked To Drug Ring Arrest

March 18, 2010

California (ChattahBox) – A suspect has been arrested in relation to a prescription drug ring they believe supplied the pills that led to the accidental overdose of Corey Haim.

The unnamed suspect had apparently been working for a massive drug ring, in which doctors provided the prescription pills, which were then sorted and sold on the streets in large amounts.

The ring has also been connected to 5,000 fraudulent prescriptions, and Haim himself was found in possession of a stolen prescription pad with a filled out script.

The fact that Corey Haim and other high profile indivigules have abused perscription drugs and died as a result of abuse, have made it extremely difficult for people
who actually need pain meds to get them. It is a shame that the police were not
able to catch any of these people until after yet another death.
