Sarah Palin and LL Cool J? An April Fool’s Joke?

March 30, 2010

(ChattahBox)—Just in time for April Fool’s Day, Sarah Palin will grace the airwaves as host of the the new Fox News’ series “Real American Stories,” because as she continues to remind us, the former half-term governor of Alaska knows a real American when she sees one. The show, will replace “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren on Thursday, April 1. Palin will wow us with her insight and journalistic skills, as she interviews celebrity guests, such as Country music star Toby Keith and rapper LL Cool J.

Real American stories is described as a program about people with “real-life tales of overcoming adversity.”

According to the LA Times, the first show of the series “will feature stories about a Marine who died to save his fellow soldiers and a stock broker who helps underprivileged students pay for college. The series is part of the deal Palin struck in January to join the network as a contributor. The extent of her role on the program is unclear, but she interviewed people in studio for some of the segments.”

Toby Keith plans to discuss his song “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American) and LL Cool J and General Electric Chief Executive Jack Welch will appear on a segment entitled “In Their Own Words.”

The question on everyone’s mind: Will Palin scribble crib notes on her hand?

It is an April Fool’s. Both LL and Keith claim Palin never interviewed them and the footage is from 2008 or earlier.
